The business was started in 1993 by father and son, Michael and Tony Hocking.  They are supported by a small team of flooring specialists.

Why the name 'Green  Rhino'?

The company name comes from the nickname for their first vehicle, a khaki coloured Land Rover, the  sort you might go wild game spotting in Africa.

The rhino suggests toughness, durability, grunt and speed.
