What is a glass floor?

View this video interview with Michael Hocking of Green Rhino . . .

A glass floor is a floor finished with actual crushed glass.

1. We grind the concrete floor to make it nice and smooth;

2. we install a waterproof coating;

3. we install an epoxy coating;

4. then we broadcast glass which is
crushed down to 1 to 2 ml (through a hopper), which gives you an incredibly attractive coloured glass floor, and extremely long-lasting.

I glad to knowing about a glass floor. Thanks for sharing such a great information.

This was the first time I heard about the crushed glass for flooring. I think it would be better if you include a picture.

I agree, adding crushed glass to an epoxy sealing job would make it very a tough seal and give it great longevity. I love a good quality sealing job on polished concrete.
